PCC was given the opportunity to attend one of the biggest transitions fairs so far this year at Old Bethpage- Plainview High School. There we were given the opportunity to share PCC's mission and events that we have coming up. It was so nice to be around so many positive, knowledgeable professionals that have the same goal. We hope that we have the opportunity to expand upon some of the connections that we made.

Recently, Positive Community Connections was invited to the NY Islanders Hockey With A Heart Networking event at UBS Arena, in Elmont, NY.  Chair of the Board of Directors for PCC, John Innis and Nassau County Community Connector, Marisa Ludwikowski were given the opportunity to learn about the philanthropic work of the NY Islanders and how they take pride in getting involved with the surrounding community.

Everyone was glowing at PCC's GlowGolf Meetup last week.  Participants came together in friendly competition as they navigated the 54-hole course, in one of the biggest glow-in-the-dark golf settings around. From battling the sneaky snake to golfing under the sea, it's safe to say that everyone became pro mini golfers by the end of the evening. It was a cool mini-golf experience.

PCC had the opportunity to pay it forward at our Lanterns and Letter Writing event.  Participants created some beautiful lanterns with the help of Nassau Arts and Crafting leader, Nicole. The lanterns were bright and vibrant and took some handwork. After creating their lanterns, we had the chance to fill out cards for the Braid Mission. The Braid Mission is a non-profit that distributes cards to teens and children in foster care.
