MEETUPS & SPECIAL EVENTS
PCC SPECIAL EVENTS

Our monthly dances are some of PCC’s most popular special events! Held at night toward the end of each month, our dances alternate between locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, making it easy for members across Long Island to join the fun.

Each dance brings a new theme, a DJ spinning great beats, festive lights and decorations, delicious eats, and, plenty of moves on the dance floor. Whether you come ready to dance or simply enjoy the company of friends, there’s always a reason to celebrate at PCC.

Speed-friending is officially fun!

PCC is proud to host official Speed-friending game nights!

This structured game provides the support participants need to comfortably foster social connections and make lasting friends. It's a lively, pressure free, way for people to meet and get to know others.

We are so excited to share our lives, likes, stories and interests with all our new friends!

A Celebration of Art, Community & Connection

PCC’s Wine & Cheese Art Auction was a beautiful afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and community. Guests enjoyed delicious wine and artisanal cheeses while exploring an incredible collection of artwork created by PCC members, participating in the auction and raffle, and connecting with friends and supporters. Set against a beautiful summer backdrop, the afternoon was a wonderful celebration of creativity and togetherness, and the generosity of our artists, sponsors, supporters, and guests helped make this inaugural event truly special. Most importantly, it was a day filled with beautiful art, wonderful company, and the simple joy of coming together.

PCC NEWS UPDATE

Lions and tigers and bears...OH MY!  A day was had at the Bronx Zoo.  We saw everything from zebras and giraffes to rhinos and Komodo dragons.  We could believe our eyes seeing such majestic animals and reptiles before our eyes.  We also had the opportunity to go into the butterfly garden and hang out with the butterflies and parrots. Members had so much fun. This meetup is definitely a core memory for PCC.

PCC wrapped up April in full jungle mode, and let’s just say… things got a little wild. Mill Hall at St. James Episcopal Church transformed into a vibrant jungle escape as the PCC pack showed up ready to move, groove, and howl at the moon.

Get JiGgy With It: A Night Full of Luck, Lights, and Dancefloor Magic

Who says the St. Patrick’s Day fun has to end on March 17th? At PCC’s Get JiGgy With It Dance, we kept the lucky vibes going strong—decked out in green and ready to celebrate!

Members of PCC's GLEE and Nassau Voice initiatives took center court for the second year in a row to sing the National Anthem for the LI Island Nets!!!  Mother Nature got in our way the first time, but luckily the second time around there were no snowflakes in sight!  Our singers sang beautifully and with enthusiasm.  All of their hard work and practicing really paid off and added such a special touch to the evening.  A HUGE PCC shoutout to our leaders that practiced and guided our members to
